If you read my recent Best of Beauty 2016 post, you obviously know how much I love the L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation, its the perfect glowy & dewy foundation for any occasion. So when walking through Target the other night, I purchased the new L’Oreal Infallible Total Cover Foundation out of curiosity. Before the Pro-Glow, I generally loved a matte look, so I was looking forward to giving this product a try.

Review:
When dispensing the foundation, it has a very unique mousy/cream consistency, so I was already worried it would be too thick overall. Trust me when I say, A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY; I unfortunately applied way too much at first and the foundation became very cakey and broke up in certain places along the bridge of my nose and was not flattering in the least. However, when I actually used the proper amount, the formula was very nice and full coverage. Ultimately it had a comfortable light weight wear to it, but I personally would say that it is not nearly as comfortable as my Pro-Glow foundation. One thing I did really love about this foundation is that it never settled into my smile lines, which is a huge plus for me when looking for a foundation because I always have a problem with that area. Also, the foundation did not budge at all throughout the day and my makeup still looked pretty spot on since when I first applied.
I applied the foundation with a Real Techniques sponge, however, I think this would be best applied with a flat top Kabuki brush for a more flawless finish due to the texture and formula of the foundation.
Overall, I think if you are looking for a decent full coverage & matte foundation, this is pretty good. It is worth a try considering it is a drugstore brand and you’re not breaking the bank to get it. I have dry skin, so I would think that is another reason why I love the Pro-Glow more as well; perhaps all the combo/oily skin individuals who give this a try, may like it a little bit more.
