ColourPop Lippie Stix & Swatches

HELLO! Hello Hello Hello!

Where have I been?! Goodness these last few weeks have been pure insanity! Travel, finals, Christmas parade, magazine releases, managing fashion shows, work, PAPERS….oh the PAPERS! But… the good news is…I’M FREE!

With that, I have now had the pleasure of finally receiving my ColourPop Cosmetics package with my lippie stix that I ordered over Thanksgiving break. Exciting stuff. This is a completely online based makeup/beauty website,; I have seen this brand before here and there on Instagram, but when a wonderful beauty YouTuber, Kathleen Lights, partnered with the company on creating her own lippie stick and lippie pencil, I was sold. I think it is incredible that brands want to work with beauty vloggers or blogger! The idea is genius considering that with these modern times, viewers look to these people for advice and direction in beauty or fashion! LOVE!

Anyway, so non the less I purchased 4 Lippie Stix to start, ALL $5 A PIECE! Such a steal! Plus when you are a first time subscriber, they also grant you with a lovely $5 off promo code for your first purchase. Their products are all made in the U.S. They stand for affordable boldness with “kick-ass hero products”. Sounds good to me!

This will be a full review and swatch on each of the lippie stix I purchased!

Lippie Stix: Lumière, Cake, I ❤ This, & Clique

All these lip products are also offered with matching lip liners that will compliment its pairing lippie stick! – $5

Well let’s just start with this beauty here! This lippie stick was created with YouTuber, Kathleen Lights; here’s her detailed video on it —> This color is a matte dusty mauve rose that will go beautiful with any bold or simple look. The color payoff is INSANE on ALL these lippie stix and Lumière is completely wearable and timeless. Also VERY similar in color to NARS Audacious lipstick in “Anna”! Fantastic partnership ColourPop!

This is the only satin finish I purchased out of the 4 and this color is BAM! This may not be the most wearable color for the average person but for me… I love it! This is basically a bright fluorescent peachy pink that is going to be amazing for spring and summer. To make it more wearable, pairing this lippie stick with a lip pencil like Mac’s “Boldly Bare” will tone down the color without diminishing its glowing hue. Give it a try!

I ❤ This

This is another matte finish in a beautiful raspberry red color. This was the first of the lippie stix I tried on and I loved it! I own so many red, cranberry, and plum lip stick shades but this raspberry caught my eye right off the bat. Beautiful!

I saved the best for last! OH MY GOD, I LOVE this lippie stick so much! This is probably one of the most beautiful and unique colors I have ever worn. The swatch on the ColourPop website does not do this product justice. A gorgeous deep matte red orange that is a showstopper. I wore this lippie stick last night to a magazine release party and while everyone was wearing their classic bold winter plums, my #motn was standing out and on point! Everyone complimented the shade and loved my look. This is now a forever MUST HAVE!

There we have it, my review and swatches of my newly purchased ColourPop lippie stix. Cannot wait to get my hands on some more and also try the lip pencils as well.

Happy Shopping 🙂
