Well it happened, Kylie Cosmetics officially launched their very first Kylighters, and I am almost certain every beauty goer was dying to get their hands on them! Luckily, I snagged 2 out of the 6 in the cute collection, Salted Caramel and Cotton Candy Cream. All highlighters retail for $22 per compact and even come with a little mirror in each one.
What intrigued me the most about this collection is how the brand didn’t send out any PR to normal beauty bloggers and vloggers that usually would receive an upcoming package of new product coming out. I am not sure why that is but I was more curious now than ever since I was just going to purchase the highlighters blindly as apposed to having some kind of first impression review about them from someone else.
Review:
So these highlighters are unique to any other ones I own in my collection. For starters, they have an interesting formula to the touch; it is similar to dunking your hand into baby powder or something of that nature. Very soft but has that unique feel to them; I almost had to rough it up a little just to get the complete pigmentation.

On the face, like I said these are very interesting highlighters, they almost look “wet” on the face but very subtle. These are not “in your face” shine, very “glowy from within” sort of look. I am sure there are many people out there who are going to love that because not everyone want a UFO landing strip on their cheek bones, however, there might be people who may think these are too “soft” for their beauty liking.

Overall, I like them, but don’t love them. The product lays very nicely on the skin and I look forward to playing with them more; but for now they might not be the first highlight I reach for. Hopefully over time they’ll wow me like the Kylie Cosmetics Burgundy Palette did after a few more uses.

Love the post, do you think Cotton Candy Cream leans more pink or gold? xx
Thank you! Hmmmm it’s closer to like a champagne pink but very very subtle. Now blinding at all!
Sounds good! Thanks for the prompt reply xx
