Review: Maybelline “Master Fix” Loose Translucent Powder

Hello Lovelies! So recently I took a trip to Ulta where I was able to pick up some new goodies! While I was there, I was able to score Maybelline’s new “Master Fix” loose translucent powder. I was pretty excited to give this a try, considering everyone is into “baking” their contours and this might be a great and inexpensive way to achieve that trend.

 Product Review:
So if you’re curious about “baking and contouring” and want to give it a try, this maybe a nice loose translucent powder for you to test the waters. However, the powder is a bit chalky and powdery on the face and can leave you looking a little ghostly. But if you can take the extra time to blend, blend, blend… Then it should definitely work nicely.

Is this a dupe for the Laura Mercier loose translucent powder… No
I personally sprits a little Mac “Fix +” on to my sponge when baking, in order to avoid looking chalky. Also a little spray to the whole face after I’m done applying my makeup. “Fix +” is always a great tool to have in your makeup collection!

So all in all, I would give this product a nice sold C+, maybe B- .. It does would well but there are better products out there. But for it being a drugstore item, we are headed in a nice direction!
