We all know I am a ride or die for the L’oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation (CLICK HERE to read my review), by far my favorite formula and wear to date. So when I found out they were coming out with a pairing concealer, I was dying to get my hands on it. The Infallible Pro Glow Concealer retails for $9.99 and claims to have a 16hr wear, have a radiant & light formula and should conceal, highlight and correct.
Review:
Ugh, I hate to say it but… not my favorite. Maybe I am spoiled with the beloved Tarte Tape Shape concealer but this was kind of a flop for me.
For starters, I purchased the lightest shade that was offered, 01 Classic Ivory, and it was not light at all after getting blended out. It actually matched my skin tone/foundation perfectly, but would not be able to provide any sort of brightening or highlighting for the under eyes.
The formula is very light with a thin consistency and seemed to blend out well; so if you are into more of a sheer coverage, this would be probably a nice option for you. However, for my preferences, this is way to sheer for my taste and couldn’t imagine someone with dark circles using this to conceal those problem areas.
Lastly, it oddly irritated my eyes. I kept having to dab my waterline to prevent me from tearing up. So maybe this product just isn’t a good combination with my skin particularly.
Overall, I did not enjoy this concealer at all. For the price point, there are WAY better drug store options that will provide you with a nicer coverage and help achieve the look you might desire. I recommend the NYX Hi Definition Photo Concealer Wand ($4.99) or for something more radiant, I would suggest the Maybelline Dream Lumi Highlighting Concealer ($7.99).
Hmm.. maybe it’s more of a blemish concealer than?? Need to try out their new Foundation though.
Maybe! Good point! It blended out nice, so probably could be used for that.
Yes! There are so many nice drug store releases that I can’t wait to try soon.
So sad to hear this product isn’t that great because I also LOVE the pro glow foundation! Love your blog girl! xx
I know! I felt the same way…. there are just better options out there that are drug store
