The Ordinary “Buffet”

This month I decided to take the time to try out a new skincare routine to really give my face the extra love it deserves. Truthfully, I do not have a lot of problematic skin, however, I do always aim for a clean, bright and fresh look. As you all have figured out, I wear A LOT of makeup and even though I don’t specifically suffer from acne, my face could be left with a dull and tired appearance at times. I have heard about The Ordinary skincare through the grapevine of some other beauty vloggers and I was curious considering the inexpensive price point and all the amazing claims the brand seemed to offer in their multiple products. One that I was intrigued by the most was “Buffet“, which claimed to restore a youthful, radiant complexion with powerful anti-aging components. So I hopped on Beauylish to snatch this magical juice and gave it a solid try.

This product is $14.80 & is oil free, cruelty free, silicone free, vegan, and contains 30 ml of serum.

Review:

So stated on Beautylish, the “Buffet” is a water-based serum with an array of anti-aging technologies, including peptides, probiotics, amino acids, and more. This treatment improves multiple signs of aging at once with various anti-aging ingredients. It reduces fine lines and wrinkles, fades dark spots, hydrates, brightens, and promotes a firm, smooth texture.

These claims were completely up my alley. I wanted something that would bring a youthful glow to my face while diminishing any potiental fine lines that I may have.

Well I have to say, this baby did the trick. My face occasionally would get these weird little texture spots around my nose and chin, kind of felt like I just needed to run my Clarisonic over them to scrub them off but it never seemed to work. However, using this product for over a week, I noticed a huge texture difference in my skin. The texture is gone and my skin is left with a very fresh look! The serum is light and sinks into my skin comfortably.

I will definitely continue to use this product in my skincare routine and look forward to trying out more from The Ordinary.
