Review: L’oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation

So much hype around this NEW L’oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation, that is suppose to leave you an all day glowy dewiness. Well last year L’oreal came out with the matte version of this foundation but I never got around to trying it, so considering I have dry skin, I knew I couldn’t pass up trying this product.

Let’s begin…

So the packaging states that the Pro-Glow foundation is…

  • Lightweight
  • 24hr
  • Glowy finish
  • Medium coverage
  • Good for dry skin

My usual, ride or die, foundation is the L’oreal Colourstay Whipped Foundation (that is hands down my favorite foundation). So the first time I put on the new Pro-Glow foundation, I put way too much on because I’m use to the thick whipped consistentency of my holy grail so by the time I was done with my makeup, I looked like a cakeface…AND it was uncomfortable.

However, the second time I used it, I learned my lesson and the foundation looked flawless. It took to my face well, held with other products, didn’t sink into my pores, therefore, calling it a win. I went out for about 5 hours and it still looked great by the time I came home. The third time I wore it, I had the same results. So overall I will say that this was a successful recommended purchase if you’re looking for a dewy glowy look and you have dry skin.

    1. On my skin, it stayed on the entire time I wore it and looked flawless. However, I wore the makeup for about 5 or 6 hours. So perhaps over a long period of time, it’ll begin to breakdown. But I haven’t had that experience, so it is a win in my book!! 🙂

  1. Hi! It looks beautiful on your skin : ) Do you think that 202 shade it’s similar to nc15 mac? What lipstick are you wearing in the pic? Thanks!!

    1. Thank you very much! I actually am not super familiar with Mac foundations colors 🙁 but the display I saw had tester to look at the shades.

The lipstick is Colourpop Cosmetic’s ultra satin lip in “Echo Park”. Best lipstick!
