HAPPY NEW YEAR!

So excited to say it is 2016, and so blessed to know this year is going to be a game changer. Non the less, I can’t wait for the adventure I’m going to endure this year.

Why not kick off he new year with my top 5 favorite winter lipsticks?

Let’s go…
1. Maybelline’s Soft Matte in “Touch of Spice”

This color is perfect. Formula is perfect. Longevity is perfect. Can you tell I like this lipstick? This Maybelline matte line is absolutely amazing and if you’re into the warm brown, mauve shades…then you will adore this color!

2. Colourpop’s Lippie Pencil & Stick in “I <3 This” 

I own quite a few Colourpop Lippie Stix and they really are wonderful, especially for the price. I own almost all matte shades and each color and formula never disappoints. “I <3 This” is an absolutely gorgeous unique deep fuchsia shade. Love this color for the winter season!

3. Stila Liquid Lipstick in “Fiery” 

What would winter be without a red lipstick? This Stila liquid lipstick is by far my favorite red lipstick that I own! The blood red color is perfection but comfortable (for me) on the lips; lasts ALL day!

4. NYX Cosmetics Soft Matte Lip Cream in “Sydney” 

These lip creams are so unique, almost powdery or moosey? The formula is very different than anything I have ever tried in a lipstick but it essentially sets to an extreme matte shade. “Sydney” is a gorgeous cool toned pink that I love to pair with many other lipsticks and lip liners.

5. Buxom Lip Foundation in “Au Naturel”

Hands down… My favorite lipstick. I wear this fall, winter, spring and summer! Such a beautiful warm brown, nude, mauve shade. Because the formula is meant to be a lip foundation, not only does this wear beautifully by itself, but it pairs perfectly with almost any lipstick or lip liner.

My favorite way to pair this lip foundation is with the NYX Cosmetics matte lip cream in “Sydney” on top (seen in this photo).
