So this last week I was driving on a 7 hour road trip by myself and I was trying to brain storm my next blog beauty post. One thing I notice when watching YouTube videos or any kind of makeup tutorials is that there are multiple products involved! So I thought why not try to stick to one palette for my eye shadows; since the Urban Decay’s Naked 2 Palette is quite the popular product, I figured that was a go! This look is more on the “smokey” side but subtle enough to wear as a day look as well.
Sooooooooo… Lets begin!
This is the Naked 2 Palette
These are all the shadows we will be using!
Step 1:
Use Foxy all over the lid and brow bone as a base color for the shadows.
Step 2:
Next, take the color Tease, and awesome matte mauve color, and dust is on the crease. This color is simply meant as a transition color so there aren’t harsh lines.
Step 3:
Depending if you rather have more shimmer, or a dust of color, take either a flat dense brush or fluffy brush and apply both (mix) Half Baked and Chopper on to the lid.
(I lightly dusted the shimmery colors on to my lid)
Step 4:
Apply Snakebite on the to outer corner and blend into the crease. Blend, Blend, Blend!
You can also put Foxy and Bootycall in the inner tear duct and on the brow bone.
Step 5:
Take a brown eye pencil and line it on the lid, this line does not have to be “pretty” by any means because we will smoke it out in the next step. For my look, I used Rimmel eye liner.
Step 6:
Smudge out the liner along the lid using a small angled liner brush.
Step 7:
Add a some gel liner to define the look with a simple winged out look (nothing too dramatic).
Step 8:
Take Tease and Snakebite and smoke it out under the lash line. This may not seem like an important step, but once the look is complete.. it definitely adds a little more….OOMPH!
Step 9:
Last but not least…Mascara!
and… VIOLA…All done!
🙂
Great !!!! Love the fact only need one product
